Our Journey
Empowering Youth Since 2007
Vision Pakistan was founded in 2007 with a clear mission: to empower Pakistani youth through education and skill development. Officially registered as a trust in 2009, we have been committed to transforming lives ever since.
Addressing the Gap: A Focus on non-literate Youth
In our early years, Vision Pakistan partnered with government and private institutes to provide technical training to hundreds of students. However, we noticed a gap—there were virtually no technical courses available for non-literate male youth. This prompted us to take action.
The Institute of Dress Technologies: Established in 2011
In 2011, Vision Pakistan launched the Institute of Dress Technologies to offer free training to completely non-literate and semi-literate young men. Tailoring, with its low startup costs and potential for growth, was the perfect vocation to teach. Our program includes drafting, pattern making, cutting, and sewing—giving our students the tools to succeed.
A Purpose-Built Facility: A New Milestone in 2022
In 2022, we moved into a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility designed by one of Pakistan’s leading architect (Mr. Saifullah Siddiqui of DB Studios). This new building symbolizes our growth and ambition. Recently, Mr. Saifullah Siddiqui was honored with the Institute of Architects, Pakistan (IAP) Jurors’ Choice Award for Socially Responsive Architecture for designing our building.
Dare to dream, dare to stitch, dare to be extraordinary with us!
Continuing Our Mission: Empowering Through Skills
Today, Vision Pakistan continues its mission to provide free vocational training to non-literate and semi-literate individuals, preparing them for successful careers and entrepreneurial ventures.
